Now available for the 2007+ MINI Cooper S Turbo as well as all MINI Models! Increase the handling performance of your Mini by reducing sway and body roll. 


Our 22mm-sway bar will balance your MINI's chassis by eliminating the understeer inherent in front wheel drive cars.  The sway bar ends features 3 mounting positions for fine-tuning. Rate increase over stock, Hole position 1: +228%, Hole position 2: +297% Hole position 3: +384%

Adjustability
The Madness rear adjustable swaybar features 3 hole adjustment to fine tune the MINI's handling for street or competition use, no need for a smaller bar for street use. Simply use the adjustment points to tune your swaybar for the handling you desire.NOTE: Swaybars do not increase ride stiffness or harshness.

Construction
The Madness bar features one piece forged construction, powdercoated for longevity and built to last the life of the car .Forged bar ends offer stronger and more direct power transfer of the swar bar energy to the wheels. Other manufactures use welded bar ends that while less costly to produce provide a point of failure over the life of the bar. Forged bar ends maintain a one piece design and maintain the steels grain structure and integrity. Notice how the factory bar uses the forging method for the same reasons. When purchasing a swaybar know it's construction method.

Kit comes complete with instructions, sway bar and polyurethane bushings. Shipping costs may be higher than estimated due to box dimensions and destination. This sway bar fits all model of MINI Cooper except countryman

I was able to do this mod by myself. Highly recommend this sway bar. Rear and squeeks and squeals are totally gone, the car just feels more solid in the back end. Then you take your first turn. I had NO IDEA how much body roll and understeer my Cooper S had until I realized it was gone! This bar is a huge bang for the buck when it comes to suspension. It is to the handling system what the supercharger pulley is to the power of the car. I would not go any smaller than a 22MM bar for sure. I use the middle setting and it is perfect for me. Enjoy!!

Rear Sway Bar

I just had my sway bar in stalled on my 2010 S, it has made a significant improvement to the handling performance of the car. This is the second product I've purchased from George and the Mini Madness team, the first was the Ram Intake. The service and products are outstanding.

I received and installed this just in time for my Autocross track time, and boy what a difference. I only had it on the lowest setting, and I could totally tell I had more control. I plan to test out all settings (which is another great feature by the way). Thank you!

Coming from BMWs, I was bummed at the amount of understeer in the stock Mini; you can actually feel and hear the car grinding through a corner while it tries in vain to go in the direction the steering wheel is aimed. Not any more! With this substantial bar set in the middle adjustment hole, the Mini is transformed, tracking through corners without that grinding push from the front end. Turn the wheel and the car goes where you point it. You can even feel the back of the car almost get loose at times. It's like it should have been from the factory! Installation was straight forward and I actually saved a little time by just loosening, not removing, the sub-frame bolts on one side. That gave enough room to pull the old bar out from the loosened-only side and slide the new bar in from that side, rather than taking out all four bolts and putting them back in.

Why you should choose the M.M. Sway bar

I selected the Mini-Madness Rear Sway Bar over all of the others out there because I believe that this bar offers far more than any of the others. It is forged, meaning that I will get the most response and feel possible from any one of the 3 settings available. I can set it on soft or medium stiffness depending on the road conditions in my area and when I take my MC to the track I can set it on the stiffest setting for incredible feel and sensitivity. If you want only the best Rear Sway Bar on your Mini then I recommend that you purchase the Mini-Madness Adjustable Rear Sway bar.

    The YouTube Video is very helpful for installation . Take about 2 hours to removed and Replaced the Swaybar on my 2006 Mini Cooper S . Vehicle is more responsive on the turn you feel less nagative G force very happy with the product.

    I added this sway bar to my 2012 mini s, and I must say it's amazing. I'm using the middle hole and it handles great. A must have.

    The construction of this bar looks fantastic, on and off the car. I noticed a difference immediate after installing it on the middle setting.

    I got this bar to help with the inherent understeer that I noticed while Autocrossing. My first event, before the new bar, I was 7th of 11. My second event, after the installation, I was 2nd out of 20 (a Roush Mustang on slicks beat me).

    I would recommend to any MINI owner that values handling.

    *Note* you should follow the instructional video on YouTube. Remember to take the shocks off and to pull the bar out from the right side (driver's side in U.S.) to avoid a wiring harness.
